Teresa
 

Teresa Hale, PT/ Founder
Teresa Hale, Physical Therapist, founded Allied Rehab in 1987. Teresa is a graduate of the UNC-CH School of Physical Therapy and has over 30 years of experience in the profession. She specializes in treatment of neck and back pain, neuro-rehab, and post-op joint replacement therapy. Teresa finds it most rewarding to teach patients how to help themselves. A long time member of the APTA and NCPTA, she has held leadership roles with the Practice and Finance committees; and has served as a Clinical Instructor for students from UNC-CH, ECU, and Nash Community College.  A Wake County native, she lives in Wake Forest with her wonderful husband Matt Hale and three almost-grownup children.

 

Jennifer
 

Jennifer Keith, PTA, CNC
Jennifer Keith is a Physical Therapy Assistant who has treated Allied Rehab patients for the last 15 years. She is a graduate of Nassau County College, and is certified as a Nutritional Consultant through the Global College of Natural Medicine. Jennifer enjoys working with a variety of physical therapy needs, including neck/back/knee pain, therapeutic exercise, and core strengthening. She has a special interest in advising patients about their nutritional needs in order to improve their health and wellness.  Jennifer has adopted NC as her home and is married with one WFR-HS daughter.

 

Pam
 

Pam Schulze, PT, MEd      
Pam Schulze is a graduate of the UNC-CH School of Physical Therapy; she also has a MEd in Exercise Physiology and Health Promotion from UT-Austin. Pam enjoys teaching patients how to exercise and prevent re-injury, as well as motivating them to improve their overall health. She has special interests in balance, vestibular rehab, and TMJ disorders. Pam was born and raised in Texas and has lived in the Wake Forest area for almost 20 years. Pam is married with two children and loves cycling, swimming, cooking, gardening, and reading.

Kimberly
 

Kimberly J. McGhiey, M.S. CCC/SLP
Kimberly received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and M.S. in Speech and Language Pathology, from Governor’s State University in Chicago, IL. During an internship at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, she completed a dysphagia seminar - a two-week intensive study program with adult and pediatric patients. After graduate school, she spent 8 years working in the Illinois Early Intervention in the greater East St. Louis area. She has worked with a variety of disorders: autism, cerebral palsy, deaf/oral communication, cochlear implant, Down’s syndrome, DeGeorge’s syndrome, and other rare genetic disorders. Since relocating to NC, Kimberly has been providing services to the pediatric population through the area CDSA’s. She loves helping children and their families achieve functional communication so that children can learn about their environment; and she is passionate about helping all individuals achieve their speech, language, or feeding goals. Kimberly holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence. She lives in the Wakefield area with her husband, Mark, and their children Morgan 11, Evanne 9, and Ian 6. In her free time she enjoys reading, golfing, and playing with her bulldog Buster.

 

Denise
 

Denise Hamilton, CCC/SLP
Denise Hamilton is the Lead Speech Pathologist with Allied Rehab. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Denise has over 15 years of experience in providing speech therapy services in hospitals, schools, and private practice settings. Denise specializes in articulation disorders, augmentative communication, working with autistic patients, and foreign accent reduction. Denise and her husband Ken have two teenagers.

Leah Braly, CCC/SLP
Leah Braly graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina where she received her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  She has experience working with children and adults in hospitals, daycares, preschools, public schools, skilled nursing facilities,  private practices, and short term rehabilitation facilities.  She enjoys helping patients and their families achieve their speech and language goals.  During her free time, Leah likes spending time with her husband and friends, traveling, reading, and photography.

   
Therese
 

Therese Golderer
Therese Golderer graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina earning her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked in a variety of settings including patient homes, hospitals, schools, private practices, and out-patient clinics. Therese has worked with both children and adults in many different environments. She is dedicated to improving the overall communication skills in children of all ages and backgrounds.  In her free time, Therese enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys running and has participated in many races in both North and South Carolina, including the Cooper River Bridge Run and the Kiawah Half-Marathon.

Pat
 

Pat Behrle
Pat Behrle, COTA/L, has a BS in Physical Education Sciences from SUNY College of Cortland, as well as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree from Durham Technical Community College. Pat works with children – infants and toddlers through high school age - in a variety of settings including home health, schools, daycare facilities and the outpatient clinic at Allied Rehab. She has worked with many diagnoses, including ADHD/ADD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, developmental delays, fine motor delays, learning disabilities, and sensory processing disorders. Pat has over 30 years of experience working with children and is a mother of three. She enjoys swimming, working out, hiking with her dogs, and has a newfound interest in Sprint Triathlons.

 
Marrin
 

Marrin Rothstein MS, OTR/L
Marrin graduated with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Winston Salem State University and has a BA in Exercise Sports Science and Psychology from UNC-CH. She works with individuals of all ages, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. When working with a client and his/her family, Marrin uses comprehensive evaluation tools and therapeutic strategies so she can address all areas of concern and client interests to set forth appropriate goals that are holistic to the client’s plan of care. She has worked with many diagnoses, including strokes, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries, ADHD/ADD, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Cornelia DeLange Syndrome, developmental delays, fine motor delays, learning disabilities, and sensory processing disorders.  Marrin enjoys supporting local art festivals around town, engaging in outdoor recreation (hiking, biking & rollerblading), teaching aerobics and laughing with friends and family.
