Courtney Smith graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Child Development. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received her Master’s of Arts in Speech Language Pathology. Courtney has experience working with children of all ages providing speech and language intervention in the clinic setting. She also has experience working with adults who have speech and swallowing difficulties following treatment for head and neck cancer. Courtney loves the challenge of tailoring each therapy session to meet the patient’s individual needs. In her free time, Courtney enjoys reading and doing anything outside. She currently lives in North Raleigh with her husband and her dog.
